The White House is an interesting hidden-object game with an educational theme. In this game you must help Miranda find clues to find her professor, while discovering the history of the White House. Throughout the game, you will visit different locations, including the White House, playing wonderful hidden-object games. The objects to find are presented on a list and they are divided in different colors. The objects written in white are the ones that you have to find in the current scene; in blue, the ones found in the other related scene that can be changed with the button found at the very top of the scene; and in red, the ones that are hidden inside another object. If you have trouble finding an object, you can first click on an object on the list to reveal its silhouette. If this isn't enough to locate an object, you can use one of the hints. When you start the game you are provided with four hints, but you can collect more in all scenes by finding all-seeing eyes.
Apart from the hidden-object games, there are several mini-games that are mainly challenging puzzles that add some variety and make the game even more enjoyable.
The game is full of dialogues between the detectives and the student, which unfold the entire story behind the game. The historical parts are usually told by Miranda, and are very interesting.
Regarding the graphics, they are cartoonish and very attractive. Also, sound effects are ok and the music is pleasant, but a bit repetitive.
In short, The White House is a very enjoyable hidden-object game that combines an excellent detective story with American History.
